Buitenplaats Brienenoord

This was a school project where we got to work with a client and make something for them.
My client was Buitenplaats Brienenoord. The location practices 'poetic activism' and aims to create a sustainable and accessible space for art and community for all ages.

Project briefing:

The students are encouraged to explore the way that Buitenplaats Brienenoord integrates poetic activism in their projects. The video should reflect these principles and serve as more than just a promotional piece or informative piece.
The Buitenplaats Brienenoord is not just about artists creating art; it's about creating a place where 'poetic activism' is a norm. The video should reflect this and make visible the poetic activism that the space is aimed at. 

The idea:

Buitenplaats Brienenoord is located on an island rich in nature and differnet animals and insects. So I decided to show the place from the animals and insects perspective, by doing research into how they see the world and trying to recreate this for the video.

With the video I wanted to show how we all look differntly at the world.
Just because we look at the same thing, doesn't mean we see the same thing.
There is more than one way to look at something.
